One Big Dare ~ We Need Your Ideas

Dare – We Need Your Ideas!

This is what happens when you’re married to someone like Greg. He’s the risk taker. He thought it would be a great idea to ask you to help us come up with a Dare. The thought of doing this gives me heart palpitations.

Since I am a nerd, I decided to look up the definition of the word dare.

The Definition of Dare

to have the necessary courage or boldness for something; be bold enough

to have the boldness to try; venture; hazard.

to meet defiantly; face courageously.

to challenge or provoke (a person) into a demonstration of courage;

Basically, the next entry should say: Greg TeSelle. He is 100% the definition of Dare. My name would be next to the word “refrain” in the dictionary. We are complete opposites!

For the sake of writing 31 Days of Truth or Dare, I’ll trust Greg & YOU with this one.

Give us your ideas of a Dare that Greg and I can do together. We will do it & then write about it on Day 30.

We have one limitation:

1. It needs to be somewhere in the USA.  Our passports are expired.

Leave your answer in the comments. We will take all of them into consideration & pick one. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments too & we’ll do our best to answer them quickly.

We will reveal the dare on Day 30!

Oh, how I wish your passports were not expired! Edgewalk in Toronto (I am Canadian!) would be my dare for both of you! While it seems like it might be a cakewalk for Greg, not so much for you! Here is a link if you are at least a bit curious! http://www.edgewalkcntower.ca/ I have to admit I don’t think there is any way on this earth that you will ever see me up there!!

I think you should post on either Twitter or Facebook and ask people where in the US you should visit…and then you should go to the first place someone suggests…regardless of where it is!

    Love this 🙂

I think that you should head downtown to Harpo Studios and do your best to try to meet Oprah. I’m not sure if you can find out when the show is recording, so you know she’ll be there. But if you can, then drive down there and make up whatever story you can and go say hello!

    Good luck! 😉

Say hello to my new “heart”. If you’ve been Say hello to my new “heart”. If you’ve been following along with my health journey, here’s an update: (check out the ❤️ saved highlight in my profile some more details) on 2/12/21 I had a CRT-D device placed in my chest to help resynchronize my heart (if you’d like to read about CRT-Ds there’s a link in my bio).⁣
⁣
Our bodies are miracles, aren’t they? As well as the team of doctors, nurses, and staff at Mayo that took care of me last week. I trusted them to do the jobs they’ve been trained to do so that I can feel better. They are miracle workers. I’ll know in 3 months at my check-up if the procedure has been successful in making my heart ejection fraction higher. ⁣
⁣
We are so thankful for the Mayo team and our family and friends across the country that were praying for us. Ultimately, because of my faith in Jesus, he is responsible for all the answered prayers this week. ⁣
⁣
God is so good. And here’s the thing, if the outcome of the surgery from last Friday would have been different, because of our eternal perspective and faith in Jesus, I believe we still would be proclaiming God’s goodness. ⁣
⁣
The words on my heart as I prepared for surgery were: Jesus, Hope, Faith, Trust, and Restore. They will continue to be my words as I heal. ⁣
⁣
Love you, friends ❤️⁣
⁣
p.s. We’ve nicknamed the device Pete, affectionately after my Grandmother Pete. She was small in height but mighty in spirit. Not much could stop her! 💪🏻⁣

Jesus endured the cross for us and considered it joy. ⁣

How can we experience true joy? Joy that outlasts the turmoil of 2020? Joy that surpasses all understanding? Joy that isn’t stolen by a diagnosis? One answer: Jesus. ⁣

May your true joy be made more complete this Christmas by remembering what Jesus has done for you.
