What’s the Craziest Dare you’ve ever done?
I’ve done a lot of crazy stuff… but by far, the CRAZIEST DARE I’ve done was…
I WRESTLED ALLIGATORS.
Where? Mosca, Colorado… at The Gator Farm.
When? Summer 2011
The Gator Farm is the only place in the world where you can get hands-on experience with all sizes of alligators… all the way up to 600lb, 9-foot alligators!
I started handling 2-3 foot alligators in a small swimming pool.
Then moved up to 5-6 foot alligators in the pond.
Then graduated to the 9 foot alligator swamp.
This was clearly the most intense and outrageous thing I’ve ever done.
If you know me at all, you know I’m a risk-taker. Why?
Because the things I learn and experience are invaluable and will never be forgotten.
Risk allows me to … experience, learn, change, and share.
Honestly, it makes me sad when I see some of my friends consistently run from risk. They allow fear to dictate most of their lives. Then run from pain, and the unknown, and they miss out on so many opportunities to learn, change, and share.
Where did I learn to be a risk taker? My parents. Remember my hero… bungee jumped the Victoria Falls in South Africa… and my mom was an business entrepreneur. I’m so thankful for parents who taught me to take risks. How did they teach me?
They took risks themselves.

I married Greg TeSelle. The risk taker. The alligator wrestler.
Oh my goodness, I can not even imagine wrestling an alligator!!! The craziest thing I have ever done was move across the country. When I was 22. To a city where I didn’t know a single person. And I didn’t have a job. And I’d found an apartment on Craigslist.

I would agree, crazy BUT so BRAVE!
Bunjee jumped off of the second highest jump in the world. Victoria Falls, South Africa. Did this with my father. One of the best memories ever!!! I asked him to give this to me as a present for my birthday. Only if he would go tandem, but when we arrived they said we weighted too much to go together, had to go separately. Sooooo, we did. So fun. I had bunjeed before, but never like this. The United States seems to be a bit more careful with there regulations, South Africa…..not so much. They used a kitchen towel and wrapped it around our ankles and secured a rope around that, then hooked us up to the bunjee. With there thick african accent, they gave us some instructions, but all I heard was countdown and jump out. Had a wonderful experience and irreplaceable memories.
you guys are crazy!
