What a month! If you can believe it, there were a few topics left on our list this month that we didn’t get around to sharing. Crazy, right? Sometimes you pick a topic and the ideas continue to roll in. Greg is right though, he “drew the hate straw” and had the difficult responsibility to write about hate this month. His posts were convicting & thought provoking. I am so glad that he poked the hate fire, in a good way. If this is your first time to read our 31 Days of Love & Hate, all of the posts can be found here.
One huge takeaway for me this month: the two of us continue to make a good team. I’ve known that since before we got married, but for 16 years now the term “team” for our marriage has applied to ministry, mentoring, cooking, parenting & now writing {did you know we wrote 31 Days of Rest & Risk last year?}. I wonder what’s next?
As for you, if you get anything out of our 31 Days of Love & Hate writing adventure, that’s humbling & amazing. Thank you for listening & reading & commenting.
With that said, with all that we’ve written this month, can I encourage you to connect with these Dream Chaser friends:
1. Reeve Coob’s {from Day 4} record will be officially released tomorrow at The Neighborhood Theater in Charlotte, NC {if you’re local & you’re going, please give Reeve a big hug from us! She’ll take the hug if you tell her it’s from us!! love you Reeve!!!}. If you cannot make it to the CD release party, her record will be available to order online November 4, 2013 at www.reevecoobs.bigcartel.com
2. Josh & Karrie Dobie {from Day 10} leave on their RV adventure this Saturday. 2 days from now. I cannot wait to follow their adventures! Subscribe to their blog posts {there’s a place on their sidebar to subscribe} & follow Karrie on Instagram {@karriedobie} for the latest info!
As a way to say THANK YOU for sticking with us this month, reading everyday about our LOVE & HATE, we are giving away a few gifts valued at a total of $125!
We love music! And playlists! Have fun building your latest playlist with a $25 iTunes gift card!
I love Stitch Fix!* Greg does too because he gets a firsthand look at the clothes they send. It’s less awkward modeling new clothing in the comfort of our living room than making him wait outside a dressing room at the store. Get started in your styling adventure with a $50 Stitch Fix gift card. This gift card can be used for current members and you can apply it to your next fix or if you want to become a member sign up here,* then you can use the gift card towards your Fix. {friendly sidebar ~ if you win this giveaway & becoming a member isn’t necessarily something you’re interested in, we can can chat about another gift option that will still be $50 value}.
Did you see the orange cowl I was wearing in Day 16? I purchased it from my friend Maggie earlier this year, and I LOVE IT! She is the super creative lady behind Gussy Sews shop & she has generously donated a $50 Gussy Sews gift certificate for this giveaway. Maggie currently lives in LA with her husband, Zack & their completely adorable 7 month old boy, Maxwell. She has created an amazing community through her blog & she is one of my favorites to follow on Instagram {@gussysews}.
To WIN this giveaway, simply leave a COMMENT {you must leave your name & valid email to win} below by answering this question:

I did not dress up this year, but I usually do! I was managing all the wardrobe changes as the kids wanted to wear different costumes to the various events of the week.
