Last night, a dozen of us had the opportunity to attend an Introduction to Handguns class taught by TD Roe, Bill Zeller & their team of instructors from the Excel Training Group at Article II Gun Range in Lombard, Illinois.
TD & Bill are both NRA certified pistol instructors. Most of the ladies in our group had not shot a gun before & by the end of the night we all developed the proper skills for handling the handguns safely & with confidence. We all had the opportunity to shoot several rounds with a Ruger 22/45 pistol, a 9mm, a 1911, a Glock 34 & an AR15 with .223 ammunition. It was an incredible experience & I hope to attend the Phase II class later this summer.
