Over the years I have created new words. I just call them “Greg words”.
Greg words are generally two “real words” blended together to make a new word.
I created the word “sporture”. A combination of the words sport and torture.
I created the word “pastard”. A combination of the words pastor and bastard.
During the last 19 Days of Rest and Risk, I’ve created yet another word…
RESK. A combination of the words rest and risk.
RESK [‘resk] (verb)
1. the act of taking a risk in order to rest.
i.e. – Resking on a regular basis will keep you energized and challenged.

Haha…oh, I love this. I’m all for new words, especially ones that capture such depth of meaning! Rest, for me, always involves risk…risk that I could have been more productive had I stayed awake, risk that I’ll sleep through my alarm, risk that I’ll miss something going on in my world. That said, some risks are worth taking
Bravo!
