We just got home from a wonderful time at Hilton Head Island with our family. 2,000 miles of driving for 4 1/2 days at the beach with them was wonderful but I’m sooooo tired today. The laundry pile is massive & I’ll start to attack my inbox later. But for now, I thought you would enjoy a few videos from the past week.
Ashley wanted to surprise her husband at their wedding reception with a flash mob performance of Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory” {a song that has special meaning to them as a couple}. The day before the wedding {yes, the day before!} about 40 women gathered to learn the moves choreographed by Ashley’s Zumba instructor, Julie. We had a great time and after 2 hours, we were ready! We were also tired & sweaty – best workout I’ve had all summer! Thanks Julie! Eden came with me and learned the moves too. You’ll see her bouncing around and doing a great job! {I hope to share with you soon the actual performance from the reception}.
One of the bridesmaids, Julie, made the following videos of Ashley getting ready & of her family. {The videos are silent}. In the second video, you’ll get a glimpse of the rotunda at the Rialto where the wedding reception was held.
The day after the wedding, our family left bright and early for our family vacation. We were tired and giggly. Gunnar got the hiccups & it sent our little family into a moment of uncontrollable giggles.
