My friend, Catherine, shared this yummy Italian Salsa recipe with me a few years ago. It is so delicious & a crowd pleaser! Perfect for holiday parties!
Ingredients:
8 roma tomatoes, diced
8 green onions, diced
6 cloves of garlic, diced
1 sm. can diced green chilis
2 T. lime juice
2 T. cliantro, diced
1 c. Italian dressing
Sprinkle with Sea Salt to taste
4 c. shredded cheese {optional}
Dice & chop and combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir. It helps to let it sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the juices & flavors marinate.
Right before serving, stir in the shredded cheese. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
{most people would probably wonder why adding cheese is “optional” but for those of us that need dairy free options, it tastes just as yummy without adding the cheese!}
