31 Days of Our Lives :: Day 20 ~ Eden

Eden is our only daughter and our youngest. She will be 5 in a few short months. She has had a few surgeries in her short life making her resilient to other obstacles that have come her way.

My interview with Eden:

What do you want to be when you grow up? A mail man because you get to drive around and you get to put the mail in the box.
What is your favorite food? Pizza
What is your favorite drink? Sprite
What is your favorite dessert? Chocolate Chip Cookies
What is your favorite movie? Enchanted
Do you have a boyfriend? No, but I’m going to marry Noah one day.
Do you have a bestfriend? Yes, Megan.
What is one word that describes your mom? hmm…
What is one word that describes your dad? Tickles.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? Playdough.
Do you like to play sports? Yes, basketball and football.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Chicago, because there’s a big pool there.
Do you have a question that you would like to ask God? What’s up there with you?

What else can I tell you about Eden?

She has 3 older brothers so she is knowledgeable in all things matchbox cars and Legos. She loves the color pink and likes to wear a dress on Fridays. This summer she learned how to swim. She loves to sit and look at the pictures in a book and make up her own story. Like her dad, she’s a risk taker. Like her mom, she’s a little shy until she gets to know you.

  1. Oh how I prayed that you would have a daughter. I don’t know why I just felt like you should get to have that mother-daughter relationship (not that you weren’t a great mom to the boys). I was so happy when I heard that #4 was a girl. She is such a beautiful girl like here mama!

  2. So cool that you guys can see traits in your kids that resemble you and Greg. The good and the bad:) look forward to doing that one day with our children. Loving your posts. You’re 2/3 done!

  3. Eden, Eden, Eden. Such a sweetie. My favorite from her was said to Greg one night after the kids were told to move into the next room. Eden looks up at Greg with those big eyes and says “but don’t you want me to sit in your lap?!” he stayed strong – but I wouldn’t have. :)
