Who’s ready for a challenge of writing about something they’re passionate about for 31 Days? Me {I think…}!
I love a challenge, however, I have realized I’m a quitter when I’m doing it alone. There’s a long list of things that I’ve started but haven’t finished…baby books, a scarf that I’ve been knitting for 18 months, sending a handwritten letter once a week for a year…
They all have good intentions behind them. I’m full of good intentions…BUT
There’s that dreaded word, BUT, the word that keeps rearing it’s ugly head when we try to come up with excuses to not do something that we know may be difficult or risky.
So, unless Jesus comes back to take me home, I will do everything in my power to complete this challenge that Nester and 7 of her friends {Jen, Jessica, Melissa, Sandy, Darcy, Emily & Emily} have encouraged us to do with them.
What will I be writing about for 31 days?
Our lives. Yes, that’s right. 31 Days of Our Lives.
Not the soap opera. A “blogumentary” of our little family. The day to day life that my family and I will be living during the month of October. Scattered throughout the month there will be interviews of each family member, posts about our favorite foods, projects I’m working on and special events.
It seems strange to think that anyone out there will be interested in any of this, but here’s your chance to get to know us a little better. If no one reads it, that’s ok. I saw this quote floating around twitter land:
“Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.” ~ Cyril Connolly
What about you? Will you be joining the “Crazy 8′s” for this 31 Days of fun?
